Ward Mooney is Chief Executive Officer of Crystal Financial and was a founder of Crystal Capital. Previously he served in senior positions at Bank of America, Fleet Bank, BankBoston, N.A. and Back Bay Capital Fund LLC. He was a founder of Back Bay Capital and GBFC, Inc., a specialty finance company acquired by BankBoston, N.A. (now Bank of America).
Ward has over twenty years experience in corporate banking throughout which he has been responsible for the development and management of many diverse business groups.
Ward has served as President and Chairman of the Turnaround Management Association. He also serves on the board of advisors of the American Repertory Theater, Cambridge, MA and he is on the Board of Directors for Casual Male and is an overseer for the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He has been the recipient of The Chairman’s Award for highest performance from the Turnaround Management Association, and received the Award of Liberty from The Anti Defamation League.
Ward received a B.A. and an M.A.S. degree from Johns Hopkins University.
